James T. Ogle
Chief Executive Officer
James T. Ogle serves as Chief Executive Officer for INC Research. Mr. Ogle is a seasoned senior executive with extensive international experience within the biomedical and contract services sector. He has served as president or CEO of global corporations for two decades, after completing a distinguished military career where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army. Prior to joining INC Research, Mr. Ogle served as President and COO of a large international CRO. In his tenure as CEO of INC Research, the company has been recognized for 5 consecutive years as being one of the fastest growing companies in the region, receiving the Triangle Business Journal's “Fast 50” Award, an award based on outstanding dollar growth and percentage rate of growth over a three year period.
Dan Hartnett
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hartnett is a Senior Executive with extensive operational and financial management experience in both the CRO industry and the high technology sector. During his career, Mr. Hartnett has served in a variety of executive leadership roles including CEO, COO, and CFO, as well as holding numerous board positions.
Mr. Hartnett served as worldwide head of finance for the international clinical trials services division of Quintiles Transnational. Prior to this, Mr. Hartnett served as President/CEO of Paragon Advanced Technology, a software telecommunications company, and COO/CFO of Ambra Computer Corporation, a high technology “virtual corporation.” In his capacity with these companies, he provided executive leadership in marketing, operational, financial and partnering strategies. In addition, Mr. Hartnett had a 25 year career with IBM where he served in various executive capacities. He held key financial and operational roles in IBM's domestic and international units.
Kevin L. Keim, PhD, MSc
Chief Development Officer
Dr. Keim brings more than 39 years of research and discovery, clinical research and regulatory experience to INC Research. Most recently, Dr. Keim served as president and CEO and board director of Vela Pharmaceuticals Inc. Prior to Vela Pharmaceuticals Inc., Dr. Keim was president of Quintiles Pacific, Inc., where he provided executive leadership and directive consultative solutions in the global CNS therapeutics market. His formative years in the pharmaceutical industry were spent at Hoffmann-La Roche and Wyeth. Dr. Keim currently sits on the boards of directors of the American Society of Experimental NeuroTherapeutics (ASENT), NeuroMedix, Inc., Clinilabs, Inc., and the Affiliated Research Institute. He received his doctoral degree from New York University and his masters of science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. His undergraduate work was done at Delaware Valley College.
John Potthoff, PhD
Chief Operating Officer
John Potthoff began his career in clinical research 16 years ago while at the University of Texas. He worked for seven years at PPD, Inc. prior to founding Tanistry, Inc., a CRO focused on clinical research in the central nervous system. INC Research acquired Tanistry, Inc. in February 2001. At INC Research, Dr. Potthoff established and expanded the company's Austin, Texas facility. In his tenure at INC Research he has lead CNS Therapeutics, Global Business Development, Clinical Development in North America and now serves as Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Potthoff holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Texas.
Malcom Fletcher, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Malcolm Fletcher brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and CRO industries to his role as Chief Medical Officer. He originally trained in medicine at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London and in anesthesiology in the United Kingdom and Canada. Dr. Fletcher held senior management positions in medical and regulatory affairs for Burroughs Wellcome Inc., AutoImmune Inc., and Pozen, Inc. During his career, he has also served in senior management roles for two other major contract clinical research companies. Dr. Fletcher has considerable experience in the clinical management of a broad spectrum of disease states, as well as extensive drug development expertise across therapeutic areas such as central nervous system disorders, cardiovascular, immunology and anti-infectives/anti-virals.
Michael L. Corrado, MD
Chief Scientific Officer
After spending eight years with Merck and eight years with Johnson & Johnson, where he was the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Dr. Corrado co-founded Advanced Biologics and established himself as an infectious disease expert. He has been intricately involved in the complete development of numerous infectious disease compounds, from pre-clinical work through marketing application submission. Dr. Corrado has served as Primary Medical Author of seven NDAs, ten sNDAs, and several expert reports submitted to European regulatory bodies. He worked on an extensive list of infectious disease compounds, and is involved with local and regional authorities to combat bioterrorism and supports their efforts for bio-preparedness. In addition to infectious disease compounds, Dr. Corrado has also been involved in other therapeutic areas such as CNS, pain, and dermatology. Dr. Corrado is frequently published as anti-infective authority and is a member of the IDSA-FDA Anti-infective Guidelines Committee. Dr. Corrado attended the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate degree and received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College.
Kelvin Logan, PhD
President, INC Research Europe, Asia & Latin America
Kelvin Logan has 16 years senior management experience in clinical research and over 25 years experience in the life sciences industry. He joined INC Research in 2002 to lead the expansion of the company in Europe which now consists of 300 staff in 17 offices across13 countries. Prior to joining INC Research, Dr. Logan worked extensively throughout Western, Central and Eastern Europe as well as Japan, India and North America. He has held senior management positions with both large and emerging CROS, including Senior Vice President at Quintiles Europe, European head of CNS Research at Quintiles and founder Managing Director of PPD Pharmaco in the United Kingdom. Dr Logan joined the life sciences arena after several years in academic research. He holds Masters and Doctorate qualifications in Virology and Molecular Biology.
