Blake Jensen to Present on Importance of Clinical Trial Monitoring and Auditing at DIA China

Raleigh NC, May 14, 2010 INC Research®, Inc., a therapeutically focused contract research organization (CRO) with a process for delivering reliable results, will feature Blake Jensen, senior director, Quality Assurance, at the 2nd Annual DIA China event, May 16-19, 2010 in Beijing.

Jensen will be participating in a pre-conference workshop on “Clinical Trial Monitoring, Auditing, and Inspection Workshop — FDA, SFDA, and Industry Perspective,” where he will share how audits and inspections are conducted, as well as regulatory agencies’ expectations. The audience will learn how minor findings can lead to serious problems for the investigator, sponsor and CRO and learn the best methods of addressing issues identified during those audits. The workshop takes place on Sunday, May 16 from 13:30 to 17:30 at the Crowne Plaza Sun Palace Beijing.

Because of the growing number of global clinical trials that have moved to China, regulatory agencies worldwide are paying more attention to the quality of these trials. As a result, sites are increasingly selected and inspected by FDA or SFDA and drug developers need to understand the latest regulatory guidelines and how they can affect quality assurance.
