Standardizing Clinical Trial Performance Metrics
Eli Alford Featured Among Distinguished Panelists at Lean Six Sigma Conference
Raleigh, NC, July 26, 2010 –
INC Research®, Inc., a therapeutically focused contract research organization (CRO) with a process for delivering reliable results, will feature Eli Alford, director of Global Operations Management, on a clinical trial performance improvements and metrics panel at the 10th Lean Six Sigma for Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device Excellence 2010 conference, July 26-28 at The Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa.
Alford will be joining the Metrics Champion Consortium (MCC) panel titled, “Industry-Wide Efforts to Develop and Implement Standardized Clinical Trial Performance Metrics to Drive Process Improvement” on July 28 at 4:15 p.m. This presentation will focus on how pharmaceutical, biotechnology and CROs can collaborate to define and implement a standardized set of clinical trial performance metrics with the intent to drive performance improvement of the drug development process.
Underscored by its membership in the MCC, INC Research has been refining its Trusted Process® methodology around a core set of clinical trial metrics since 2005. On the panel, Alford will present insights on creating an industry benchmarking database and how it can be used as an internal and external reporting tool.
