Luke HickeyVice President, Biostatistics12 years' experienceAfter not really enjoying statistics classes at high school, I did a complete u-turn and have spent my career in biostatistics and statistical programming. As a lead biostatistician and, in some cases lead statistical programmer, I’ve worked across Phases I – IV, across multiple therapeutic areas, and supported NDA submissions. As a manager, I led a team of biostatisticians and statistical programmers in the UK, before relocating to the US in 2009. Since 2013, I’ve led the global team. Our team consists of almost 200 biostatisticians, statistical programmers and our specialist SDTM delivery team, spread across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Tony WomackExecutive Director, Medical Writing17 years' experienceAfter many years in the classroom and in various management roles both in education and business, I found my true passion when I became a medical writer in 1997. I relished my role as a writer for a few years before the lure of management once again grew strong and I moved into a management role and away from writing. Since that time, I have developed one medical writing team from a loose confederation of about 25 people into a tight-knit global team of about 65 people. When I came to INC Research in 2008, I found a team of about 10 people in the medical writing department. Today that team numbers over 100 people and is spread from coast to coast of the United States eastward with staff in the UK, Germany, India, China, and Japan. I am responsible for the organizational structure, the department goals and budgets, and staffing requirements.
Lisa DavidsonExecutive Director, Biometrics Project Management16 years' experienceMy first job in the CRO industry was as a Medical Writer at a small Biometrics only CRO. I joined INC Research in 2011 to start the group in the Biometrics Business Unit to support large programs and Biometrics only work. My team and I have managed the biometrics deliverables for hundreds of Phase 1-IV clinical trials across all therapeutic areas in the past 14 years. My team has also managed the biostatistics and medical writing components of 8 NDAs in the last 4 years.
